Little Dorothy Reed grew up in California outside the vaults. Her parents, traveling merchants, brought up and down the golden coast and taught her what she needed – how to fix what you had and find what you needed. How to barter and how to use manners.Eventually she enrolled with the NCR where she was trained up as a medic, though left as soon as her first tour was over, as it was obviously not her calling. What she wanted, what she missed, was the opportunity to see the world and experience life. It was why the Mojave Express had been so appealing a job in the first place.Dorothy’s work as a courier eventually brought her in the direction of New Vegas, where two bullets to the brain changed her life. The doc did a miracle, but ‘Six’ is all she knows herself as now, and for the first time in her life, whether she remembers it or not, she’s got a goal in mind.

President Aaron Kimball sends the NCR army into the Mojave in force, with the objective of occupying and repairing the Hoover Dam. Robert House begins renovations of New Vegas. 2275. . Caesar's Legion moves into the Mojave, setting up their base of operations at Fortification Hill. NCR forces defeat Caesar's Legion during the Battle of Hoover Dam. After a Year of service, Dorothy leaves the army and takes up a job with the Mojave Express as a Courier. In the years to come, she assists in establishing Hopeville and Ashton along Route 127, a helpful trade route between the Mojave and the NCR.. 2279. . Dorothy delivers a package to The Divide. Unbeknownst to Dorothy, Hopeville and Ashton are destroyed by the launcher inside of that package.. October 19, 2281. . Dorothy Reed is hired by Robert House to deliver a platinum poker chip to New Vegas. En route, she is murdered by Benny in the small town of Goodsprings.. April 18, 2282. . Courier Six has mostly recovered from the gunshot wounds to the head. Still lacking a sizeable portion of her memory, the residents of Goodsprings assist her with relearning motor functions and how to speak. In return for their kindness, Courier Six helps them fight off the newly formed Powder Gangers. Ready as she'll ever be, she leaves to pursue her murderer.. January 21 2283. . After traveling across the Mojave through various detours and interruptions, Six arrives to Camp McCarran. With her good standing with the NCR, she takes the monorail into The Strip where she meets Robert House for the first time. Enamored with the glamor of The Strip, Six begins to curl her hair and wearing make up to fit in with the glamor. In this time she takes up with Boone, Cass, and Raul.. June 24, 2283. . Scared to confront her killer, Six takes her time in Freeside where she grows reputation. Makes contact with The Kings and Followers, and learns of the political tensions of the area. Arcade and Rex become companions. In the hot evening of the summer, Six finally confronts Benny. He offers her a deal.. December 30, 2283. . Under Benny's tutelage and Yes Man's help, Six shapes up the Three Families on the Strip. She and Benny begin to be intimate. The Courier goes between House and Benny as she tries to decide which option is better for the Mojave. Under the cover of night, Benny leaves for Fortification Hill, his scheming without Six finally coming to a head.. July 14, 2284. . Having followed Benny to the Legion Camp, Six spends the better part of a year earning the Legion's favor by educating their women on healing and medicine. The Caesar is in need of brain surgery, where he unfortunately passes away under the knife by Courier Six's hand. Six uses the opportunity to finally help Benny escape, still hurt by his abandonment, they part ways less than amicably. Six lays low as the Legion suspects it was not an accident. The events of Honest Hearts occurs.. August 14, 2284. . Swank is appointed new head of the Chairmen. Six continues to do favors for the NCR while beginning to assist House with preparing for the next battle for Hoover Dam. Pressure mounts from the NCR for her assistance in the upcoming battle. A small camping trip away from responsibility turns into a nightmare. Old World Blues occurs.. January 22, 2285. . Six meets Veronica and begins to assist her in helping out the Brotherhood of Steel. Elder McNamara is unconvinced.. October 23, 2285. . Courier Six kills Veronica in self defense after she nor House are willing to concede on matters of the Brotherhood. Overcome with grief and guilt, Six leaves to the Madre. Events of Dead Money occur.. November 9, 2285. . The Mojave chapter of the Brotherhood is destroyed. Six assists in the defense of President Kimball at Hoover Dam. Everyone waits for the boiling point. Six is given a message through ED-E to head to the Divide. Full of resolve and with nothing left to lose, she confronts Ulysses. The events of Lonesome Road occur.. 2286. . Robert Edwin House usurps the Hoover Dam out from under General Lee Oliver thanks to the scheming of Courier Six. A disgruntled NCR leave the Mojave. New Vegas remands under House's control as a sovereign state.

ARCADE GANNON. Six admired Arcade’s interest in making the wasteland better from their first meeting, and looked to him often for approval and advice. Though their friendship was a bit soured by House obtaining power, Six often visits Arcade at the Follower’s camp to assist with medical help and establishing the first working hospital in centuries.
RAUL ALFONSO TEJADA. After saving Raul from Tabitha, Six looked to him for lessons on how to shoot, how to repair things, and old stories about his time as a vaquero. with her encouragement, he picked up his old role of gunslinger and once again donned his old gear.
CRAIG BOONE. There was nothing for Boone in Novac after avenging his wife. There was common ground with service in the NCR, though as time has gone on a strong friendship has developed. Though she talks a lot, the sniper has a soft spot for Six after she helped and encouraged him through his trauma and assisted him with getting justice for his Carla.
LILY BOWEN. Lily and Six have a very loving familial relationship. After encouraging Lily to continue with half doses of her medication, and helping her keep them consistent, Six has spent personal time and resources helping Lily find her grandchildren after years apart.
ROSE OF SHARON CASSIDY . After helping Cass bring Alice McLafferty and the Van Graffs to justice with the NCR, Cass spends her time helping Six, reluctantly, amass power on the Strip for Mr. House. It pays off for her in the end – with nearly unlimited resources, Six gives back to Cass and then some in the form of whatever she needs to bring her trading caravan back from the brink.
VERONICA SANTANGELO. There might have been something between Six and Veronica at one point if their sidelong glances and long conversations into the night had been any indication. What might have been will never be, as Veronica attacked Six when she discovered that the courier had considered destroying the Mojave chapter of the Brotherhood. It was not an easy decision to come to for Six, but that made no difference. Six murdered Veronica in self defense. Before that, however, with encouragement from the Courier, Veronica had made tentative plans to leave the bunker and the life of a scribe in order to volunteer with the Followers of the Apocalypse.
REX & ROXIE. A faithful companion to Six, Rex often keeps Cass company when he is not traveling with the courier, the memories he received from Rey’s brain making him more than happy to travel with the newly reopened Cassidy Caravans. Upon returning from the BIG MT, Six brought home another companion for Rex to spend time with when she was unavailable, and together he and Roxie have made a precious litter of cyber puppies.
E-DE. Perhaps to some, robots are simply nothing but robots. To six, however, the small eyebot is like a child to her. It’s rare to see her wandering the wasteland without them, especially after she turned him over to the Followers of the Apocalypse for a brief period of time for them to use what data the Enclave had stored in their memory banks.
FATHER ELIJAH. In a way, looking for Elijah was a chance for Six to consolidate her grief about Veronica. There have only been a select few times in her life where anger has taken hold of her completely, and when she finally talked Elijah in joining her down in Sinclair’s vault did one such instance take place. For all he had done to Christine, to Dean, and to Dog/God, Six killed him; it was not her right to decide that he deserved to live. Not after all the hell he had left in his wake.
CHRISTINE ROYCE. Getting to know christine and putting together who she was left Six in a miserable position. She admired how bright Christine was, how clever and capable, and though their time together was short, when Six thinks about the Sierra Madre she thinks more about the new warden who wanders the halls and protects outsiders. Six could not bring herself to tell Christine about Veronica, but it didn’t stop her from holding her hand and letting herself wonder. She left her behind at the Sierra Madre, has hasn’t looked back since.
DEAN DOMINO. After all was said and done, Six invited Dean to perform as a singer for The Tops. It took him a bit of time, as it did all of them, but soon enough he took up her invitation. Though she had no intention of claiming the rewards of the Sierra Madre for herself, Six thought it might be prudent to sweeten the deal for Dean with a single gold bar – all she could carry out with her as the vault collapsed.
DOG/GOD. Six did not threaten God with releasing Dog to make him follow commands. Instead, she made sure he was abated with a steady supply of ghost people meat. Upon finding God/Dog in the Sierra Madre, Six helped the two unite as one so that no one would be allowed to control them again. Though it made her sad to no longer be remembered, she gave them clear directions to Jacobstown so that they could hopefully find some peace to make up for the horrors of the casino.
JOSHUA GRAHAM. At first, it was hard to believe that this was the same Legate Malpais that had been thrown off the Grand Canyon. Fresh off the heels of assassinating Edward Sallow, Six cautiously but curiously learned about the Legion from someone who had left. Joshua Graham was someone who gave her much to consider and in his own way assured her she'd done the right thing.
FACTIONS
LOCATIONS
ROBERT HOUSE. Six harbors unrequited feelings for Robert House. She feels indebted to him for bringing her back from the dead. They nearly had a falling out when he demanded the Brotherhood be destroyed, and while that cooled her infatuation with him, she still jumps if he commands it. House is largely unaware of this infatuation, though he does feel a large sense of pride and gratitude for the work Courier Six has done for his vision of New Vegas and the Strip.
BENNY & YES MAN. Upon arriving at the Strip, Six sought Benny out to get answers after finding her courage. She got them as well as an offer: help him overthrow House. Benny, along with Yes Man, taught Six the ways of underhanded scheming, and somewhere along the way the business relationship became something physical. The chip traded hands several more times before, fed up with indecision, Benny fled into the hands of Caesar’s Legion, where Six helped him escape after making him promise he would never show his face in the Mojave again. Yes Man was disassembled and reconnected to House’s systems soon after, Six having been given access to him during her time working with Benny.
CAESAR'S LEGION. With the generous offer to use her medical experience to attend to Caesar’s tumor, a complication in surgery had him dying on the table. In the resulting chaos, Benny and the chip were lost, and there was only one guess as to who was responsible. Six, by some miracle, talked the Legate Lanius down from throwing the Legion into the fray at Hoover Dam, cinching it for Mr. House. After Lanius’ retreat, the Securitrons under the fort were dispatched and cleaned up what Legionaries were still at Fortification Hill. Six spent time in Arizona teaching medicine to some of the slaves, and was careful to also outline ways they could rebel once the opportunity arose. With the war in full motion and the power vacuum that arose after Caesar’s death, the Legion struggled to organize themselves enough to deal with the growing pockets of resistance, their ranks thinned by poisoned medicine and dissent.
NCR. Her time in service with them has the mostly on pleasant terms, though her work with Robert House and preventing them from making a foothold in the Mojave has the relationship friendly, but strained.
BOOMERS. Though the Boomers have begun to interact with caravans and traders outside of Nellis, they remain largely at the air base. it is Six’s hope that some kind of truce can be brokered to allow for air travel across the wastes thanks to the Boomer’s resources.
BROTHERHOOD OF STEEL. Upon House’s demand that the chapter be destroyed, Six spent excess time trying to figure out a way to create some sort of unlikely alliance. Her hand was a bit forced when Brotherhood scribe Veronica Santangelo attempted to kill her. Not long after the hidden bunker was nothing but a pile of underground rubble, and those who had been outside the bunker upon its destruction either made their way back to California or died the same way so many in the Mojave do.
GREAT KHANS. After peacefully resolving the hostage situation with the NCR and preventing the last of the Khans from complete wipeout, the Khans are making due and scraping by with their smaller numbers. Six was invested in removing Legion alliance with the Khans, though with her work with the NCR leaves them unsure and unconfident about her intentions.
ENCLAVE. Encouraged to place their bets with the NCR, as the NCR retreated from the Mojave so too did the surviving members of the Enclave who had chosen to back them in the battle.
FOLLOWERS OF THE APOCALYPSE. With Arcade at her shoulder encouraging an independent New Vegas, the next best thing was to work with the followers of the apocalypse and the Kings to make Freeside and North Vegas a better place for those less fortunate. After all, all the good fortune comes back around tenfold.
THE STRIP & THE FAMILIES. After some changes in management, the three families that run the top casinos on The Strip are to a much better standard. Fortunes are still won and lost in moments, only now it’s with far more flair.
THE KINGS. Convincing the Kings to make nice with the NCR, Six made it worth their while when Mr. House finally took control of the Hoover Dam. Still a fixture of Freeside, the King’s work – though tentatively – with the Followers of the Apocalypse on improving conditions. Six wishes badly to be a member of the Kings, finding an unlikely friendship with their leader, the King himself.
FREESIDE. Though there is a bit of a disagreement on how things should be handled, the overall wish to make Freeside more than just a place for addicts and pickpockets is strong enough to disregard any ill feelings. Six works with Julie Farkas and The King closely in building up a body of government that will make sure that those living there are not struggling. Part of that work includes making a hospital on Mr. House's dime.
GOODSPRINGS. Six spent several months recovering in the small town. Thanks to the efforts of Doc Mitchell, Sunny Smiles, and the other locals of Goodsprings, the damage of being shot in the head was… relatively minimal. Courier Six can still be found visiting from time to time, appreciative and attached to the little place that saved her life and her family that lives there.
NOVAC. After Jeanie May Crawford’s unfortunate death, and introducing Chris Haversam to the settlement, Novac did well for itself, though dinky the t-rex toys are still not purchased by anyone other than Courier Six.
PRIMM. After Beagle’s unfortunate death at the hands of the Powder Gangers, Primm’s new sheriff, Primm Slim, does a surprisingly good job of keeping the peace.
JACOBSTOWN. Six and Lily worked with the super mutants here to help develop a cure for their schizophrenia. The settlement flourished as a safe place for super mutants, and their supply trades, facilitated by Cassidy Caravans, helped sustain their small haven.
POWDER GANGERS. After Six helped Ringo and Goodsprings from their attack, word spread around their ranks to keep an eye out for a woman in a vault suit. Said Courier continued to meddle in their organization, weakening their impact along the Mojave roads. Eventually, with the help of upgraded securitrons, what remained of the powder gangers were once again incarcerated if not killed outright.
THE SORROWS. Working with Daniel, Six assisted with their escape from Zion and the battle between the Dead Horses and White Legs. She eventually met up with them again, where she was finally able to meet Walking Cloud’s children.
DEAD HORSES. Six worked with Joshua Graham in repelling the White Legs from the valley. Follows-Chalk was invited to The Strip to see the glory of the old world as a guest of honor before he moved Westward to see what the NCR territories had to offer. Six spared Salt-Upon-Wounds’ life. Whatever the Legion would instill as punishment was worse than death.
THE BIG MT. To the Courier, the entire expanse of the Big Empty was a nightmare. She spent her time there finding comfort in the personalities of the Sink, and visits sparingly to check on Dr. Mobius as well as look through the centuries of research that might benefit the Mojave. Anything that is usable for the Mojave she brings back for the Followers to use.
THINK TANK. Angered and afraid of the brains of the Think Tank, after being reunited with her brain and making sure her spine and heart were where they needed to be, Six guaranteed that the they would do no harm to the rest of the wasteland by killing them and taking the Big MT for herself.
SIERRA MADRE. Following the trail left behind by Father Elijah and the mysterious other courier in hopes it would take her mind off of Veronica’s death, Six wakes up with a bomb collar around her neck and a pressing need to return home. After all, she left a lot of unfinished business behind. She jumps through all the hoops Elijah has put forth, working with a group who doesn’t trust her to break into the long-sealed casino for nothing. The golden bars are still locked in the vault along with the late Elijah’s corpse.
LONESOME ROAD. Before the final battle begins, Six is desperate to make peace with herself and make sure she leaves nothing undone in case the inevitable happens. It's what leads her back to Primm to deliver the money for the platinum chip job. It's then and there that she decides to go to the Divide, where everything feels familiar even if she's never been before. Only she has. Meeting Ulysses and another ED-E challenges her and what she has known. With time, she slowly begins to remember as she talks to the other Courier who put her life onto a new path. It's thanks to him that she is ready to win the war, but not before promising to come back and help Ulysses find his new Hopeville. Unable to let this new ED-E sacrifice herself, she sends the missiles to Arizona in hopes it sabotages the Legion further.

baldur's gate 3. originally from waterdeep, her father is one of the lord's helm. a man with a fine mind for business, dorothy grew up studious and with the expectation she would continue her father's legacy as a part of their noble family line. adventuring was not necessarily her intention, but she was swept up by the possibility of freedom from nobility and the honor that was so demanded by the higher rungs of waterdeep's ladder. a betrayal, death, and a rebirth later, six is sent out by her strange and enigmatic employer to gather information on the growing power and lord enver gortash and his steel watch. perhaps unlucky to some, en route to baldur's gate, courier six is stolen by a nautiloid infecting its captives with a strange tadpole.
bioshock. dorothy reed meets andrew ryan while working for her father's financial firm. with a personal invitation to rapture, ryan captures dorothy's devotion and puts her in charge of financials in his city, but it doesn't take long for the paradise to turn into an inescapable hell. disillusioned by ryan's madness, dorothy turns her attention to helping the needy and downtrodden with fontaine, only to find herself on the barrel side of a revolver when the civil war hits rapture.
